In consideration of my engagement as a __________________, and for other good and valuable consideration herein acknowledged as received and to be received, I hereby grant the following rights and permissions to PERJUS LLC (“Brand”), its legal representatives, and assigns, those for whom Brand is acting, and those acting with its authority and permission. They have the absolute, irrevocable, perpetual and unrestricted right and permission to take, use, re-use, publish, and republish the works identified below (“Content”), in whole or in part, or composite or distorted in character or form, individually or in connection with other material, in conjunction with or without my name or a fictitious name, without restriction as to changes or alterations, or reproductions thereof in color or otherwise, made through any medium at Brand’s studios or elsewhere, and in any and all media now or hereafter known, specifically including but not limited to print media, social media and distribution over the internet for illustration, promotion, art, editorial, advertising, trade, or any other purpose whatsoever, provided that the Content will only be used in, or for the benefit of, PERJUS Magazine, including without restriction the promotion thereof. I hereby waive any right that I may have to inspect or approve the finished use of the Content, or of any printed or electronic material that may be used in conjunction with the Content, now or in the future, whether that use is known to me or unknown. I hereby disclaim and waive any right to future royalties or other compensation arising from or related to the use of the Content. I hereby release, discharge, and agree to hold harmless Brand, its legal representatives, and assigns, and all persons acting under its permission or authority or those for whom it is acting, from any liability, including without limitation any claims for libel or violation of any right of publicity or privacy. I hereby agree to defend and hold harmless Brand, its legal representatives, assigns, agents, employees, and all persons acting under its permission or authority or those for whom it is acting, against any claims, damages, or liability, including reasonable attorney’s fees, arising from any misrepresentation I make in this Release.
I understand that purchasing items from the PERJUS Prop/Costume Idea Store DOES NOT guarantee publication in Brand’s print/digital magazine and also does not guarantee digital feature on PERJUS.com. I understand that if my work is chosen for publication, it will be available to view in the free digital magazine as well as for sale in the print magazine. I understand PERJUS Magazines are printed to order, and Brand does not provide any free print copies under any circumstances at this time. I understand and accept I will not receive a free copy of the print magazine if my work is chosen for publication.This Release and all disputes arising hereunder shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws and decisions of the State of New York, without giving effect to the principles thereof relating to conflicts of law. I irrevocably agree that the federal and state courts of New York, County of New York, shall have sole and exclusive jurisdiction over any suit or other proceeding arising out of or based upon this Release. I submit to the venue and jurisdiction of such courts, and irrevocably consent to personal jurisdiction by such courts. I hereby warrant that I am over the age of eighteen (18), legally and mentally competent, have the right to contract in my own name, and have the right to grant any and all rights and permissions granted hereunder. I have read the above authorization, release, and agreement, prior to its execution, and I am fully familiar with the contents of this document. I hereby acknowledge that I have been given the opportunity to review this Release and its contents with personal legal counsel, and have utilized that opportunity to the extent that I wish to do so. The rights granted under this Release shall inure to the benefit of the agents, employees, successors, heirs, legal representatives, licensees, and assigns of Brand. This Release shall be binding upon me and my heirs, legal representatives, successors, and assigns.

I specifically consent to the digital compositing or distortion of the Images, including without restriction any changes or alterations as to color, size, shape, perspective, context, foreground or background. I also consent to the use of any published matter in conjunction with such Images. I hereby waive any right that I may have to inspect or approve the finished use of the Images, or of any printed or electronic material that may be used in conjunction with the Images, now or in the future, whether that use is known to me or unknown. I hereby disclaim and waive any right to future royalties or other compensation arising from or related to the use of the Images.
