“Daydreaming” is the new song from NxWorries – the duo of Anderson .Paak and Knxwledge. On “Daydreaming,” .Paak sings about being desperately in love with a girl. He takes on the role of her Romeo, waiting beneath her balcony and daydreaming about his love for her. The song culminates with an epic guitar solo by Jairus “J.Mo” Mozee.

The video marks Knxwledge’s directorial debut and was solely created by him using editing tools from Rockstar’s Grand Theft Auto V. The visual, situated in the GTA universe, features Anderson.Paak’s official character from GTA’s The Contract courting his love interest until it takes an unexpected twist. Watch it here.

“Daydreaming” is taken from NxWorries' second album, out later this year via Stones Throw. It follows their comeback track “Where I Go”, which features a radiant vocal contribution from GRAMMY-award winning singer/songwriter H.E.R and dropped with a video directed by .Paak. “Where I Go” was praised by the New York Times, Pitchfork, The Needle Drop and many more, and has been streamed over 30m times.
NxWorries have also announced an extensive tour, kicking off this May in Europe, with dates at Blue Note Jazz Festival NYC and Napa, Primavera Sound, FUJIROCK, and a headline slot at Cross the Tracks in London. This is NxWorries’ first tour in 8 years, and their first time playing in the UK and touring Europe.

Nxworries
Knxwledge and .Paak met in 2014 on Twitter. Knx sent a beat. Paak responded a day later with “Suede,” the hit single that would help launch his solo career. NxWorries' debut album Yes Lawd! was released in 2016. The two now find themselves back in the studio working together on more music and readying for their upcoming shows.
